General Laborer – Tree Services
📍 Location: Sunbury Ohio
🕒 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st Shift
💲 Pay: $19.00–$24.00 per hour
About the Role
We're looking for a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our tree services team in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable, and ready to perform a variety of physical tasks related to tree care, tree removal, and site cleanup. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred to support communication with crew members and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist crews with tree removal, tree trimming, and pruning operations
- Load, unload, and move logs, branches, wood, and equipment
- Operate hand tools and assist with power tools under supervision
- Clean up job sites by removing brush, limbs, and debris
- Help prepare and maintain equipment for daily jobs
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, yard, and equipment
- Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors in English and Spanish (preferred)
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physically demanding work
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willingness to learn tree care techniques and safety procedures
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Previous experience in tree services, landscaping, construction, or general labor is a plus
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not required
Schedule & Pay
- Monday through Friday, first shift (daytime hours)
- $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience
