Position: IT Applications Engineer II

Responsibilities
The IT Applications Engineer supports the design, development, and modification of computer applications and programs, ensuring efficient and effective fulfillment of business objectives.

Support C.Core, Plex, and SAP users, including report development.

Support SAP/Plex/C.Core interface schedules and troubleshoot errors.

Work with associates and software providers in all phases of software implementation, including requirements gathering, testing, and support.

Support EDI using Gentran, including updates and troubleshooting.

Perform database maintenance and troubleshooting for SQL servers.

Address other issues and/or assume other responsibilities as opportunities arise.

Develop and participate in department projects as requested to help departments work more efficiently.

Qualifications
-
Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or experience with Plex, SAP, and/or EDI
-
Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Application Engineer

Experience with Microsoft products
-
Experience with SQL databases and Windows operating systems

Experience with query-based report writing
-
Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and end users
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
Working Conditions
-
Lifting up to 40 lbs.: approximately 0.5 hour per day

General office environment: approximately 8 hours per day

On-call availability: 24 hours per day

Occasional overnight travel may be required to perform essential functions at remote locations or receive training.

Overtime may be required, including unplanned and unscheduled overtime, to meet customer deadlines and requirements.
