Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role will focus on maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting HVAC systems, plumbing, and exhaust fans across our commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a broad skill set and a strong commitment to quality work and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing, and exhaust fans.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.

Conduct inspections of systems and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.

Replace and repair worn or defective parts on a variety of equipment.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and building regulations.

Collaborate with property managers and other maintenance staff to coordinate repairs and minimize downtime.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in HVAC or plumbing preferred.

3+ years of experience in commercial maintenance, specifically working with HVAC, plumbing, and ventilation systems.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments (rooftops, confined spaces, etc.).
Working Conditions:

On-site work at commercial properties.
-
May require occasional evening or weekend work for emergencies.

Must be able to stand, walk, climb, and lift for extended periods.
