Executive Assistant

 Key Responsibilities

  • Follow, establish policies, and protocols for use in the daily operations of the KIArts programs.
  • Ongoing and consistent recruitment for program participants, volunteers, and partnerships.
  • Creating holistic programming and resources for individual and family dynamics.
  • Provide management and leadership to program staff and volunteers.
  • Provide direction to staff members and volunteers as required or requested by program needs or expectations.
  • Stress the importance of consistency by developing reports and other tools to help achieve organization and program goals.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationship with team members and organization senior leadership.
  • Establish and maintain good communication and accurate reports, to ensure smooth operations, transitions, and understanding regarding organization programs.
  • Work to ensure continuation of funding for the program by assisting in the coordination of activities through community involvement, brand recognition, and fundraising.
  • Serve as organization representative for events and meetings as assigned.
  • Build and maintain community contacts with team members, business, and community influencers.
  • Guide activities to ensure KIArts policies are understood and followed.

 

 

Specific requirements include:

  • Associate degree or related field, ideally a Bachelor, with a least 3 years of program planning or related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience; administrative experience; track record of effectively leading and regionally and/or nationally scaling a performance and outcomes-based organization and staff; ability to point to specific examples of having developed and operationalized strategies that have taken an organization to the next stage of growth.
  • Knowledge in budgeting; management; program planning; training and development; public relations; human resources; community relations
  • Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, or picture form; apply principles to solve practical, daily problems.
  • Understand practical field of program.
  • Ability to effectively interact with diverse population of staff, participants, and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, with proven ability to proactively organize and prioritize work and meet critical deadlines.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and commitment to KIArts mission and values
  • Strong proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Previous experience with project management and/or event planning
