Position Details
- Job Title: Prep Cook / Line Cook
- Location: Hotel Kitchen
- Pay: Starting at $14.50 per hour, based on experience and skill set
- Schedule: Variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Pay Frequency: Weekly Pay
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for daily food service operations
- Follow recipes and portion standards
- Cook and plate menu items according to hotel specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
- Properly store food and monitor product freshness
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with kitchen opening and closing duties
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and hospitality staff
Qualifications
- Previous prep cook, line cook, or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and food quality
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Food safety knowledge is a plus
