About the Role
We’re seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and reliable team player to join our warehouse and millhouse operations. This is a hands-on, physically active role that blends warehouse work, wood product preparation, and occasional delivery support. If you enjoy variety, working outdoors, and being part of a tight-knit team, this might be the perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities
• Select and fulfill customer orders with accuracy and care
• Load/unload trucks and stock inventory
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse
• Update work order status in our computer system
• Perform quality control checks on outgoing products
• Cut, finish, and prepare wood products to customer specifications
• Assist with deliveries as a driver assistant or flatbed truck driver (infrequent)
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to visitors and clients
• Support special projects and other tasks as needed
Skills & Qualifications
• Prior experience in construction, carpentry, remodeling, or lumber yard preferred but not required
• Comfortable with frequent heavy lifting (up to 70 lbs) and working outdoors year-round
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, tape measure, saws, forklift, pallet jack
• Basic math and computer skills for inventory and order tracking
• Valid driver’s license required
• Forklift certification a plus
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Highly punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious
• Willingness to learn and grow—we value trainability and enthusiasm
