Customer Service & Sales Associate (HVACR Focus)
Location: Cleveland Ohio
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and dependable Customer Service & Sales Associate to join our team. This role is vital in assisting customers with product selection, processing orders, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience. You’ll also support warehouse operations, inventory management, and contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting products and equipment tailored to their needs
- Increase sales and customer satisfaction by suggesting additional beneficial items
- Process orders, transactions, and purchase orders promptly and accurately
- Provide friendly, helpful, and professional customer service (in-person and over the phone)
- Support incoming deliveries, stocking, and organizing inventory
- Maintain a pleasant, clean, and orderly store environment
- Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong sales, customer service, and communication skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with inventory, stocking, warehouse operations, and order fulfillment
- Attention to detail, decision-making skills, and ability to work well with others
- Physically able to lift medium loads regularly and heavy loads as needed
- Comfortable standing for extended periods throughout the day
- At least 1 year of warehouse work
- Prior sales and customer service experience
- Experience in HVAC or related trades highly desirable (priority given to candidates with HVAC background)
- Specialized training, certifications, or education in HVAC or construction trades are a plus
