Machine & Facility Maintenance Technician

About the Role:
We’re seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined person to join our team and keep our facility and machinery running smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone who’s versatile, resourceful, and eager to grow into a machine setup/operation trainer.
Key Responsibilities:
General Repairs & Maintenance
- Handle a wide range of machine and facility repairs
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using hand/power tools and measuring equipment
Facility Upkeep & Support
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the plant and general manager
- Support construction-related tasks and minor electrical repairs
- Help maintain facility organization and cleanliness
⚙️ Machine Operation & Setup
- Learn full setup, operation, and maintenance of all machines
- Transition into a machine setup/operation trainer role
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure facility and equipment meet cleanliness, safety, and functionality standards
- Follow safety protocols when operating forklifts, saws, and specialized tools
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of versatile experience in machine/facility maintenance
- Excellent proficiency with hand and power tools, tape measures, forklifts, and electrical repair instruments
- Specialized training or certifications are a strong plus (Controls-PLC & Industrial PC)
- Hardwire/relay logic
- High and low Voltage
- Instrumentation
- Motor Drives
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, adaptable, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Physically able to lift heavy items, walk large facilities, and bend/stoop/crouch when needed
