Production Assembler
Location: East of Downtown on E 40th
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
Pay: $15/hr

Express Employment in Lakewood is seeking a Production Assembler for a company specializing in manufacturing, refurbishing, and installing commercial cold‐storage solutions. This role is ideal for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys hands‐on work, problem‐solving, and building high‐quality refrigeration units.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately measure, cut, and shape sheet metal using a 16" handheld circular saw and specialized machinery
- Assemble refrigeration units (chillers, walk‐in freezers, cold cases) using hand and power tools
- Perform painting and finishing work on completed units
- Operate a forklift to move materials, load/unload trucks, and stage finished goods
- Assist with warehouse tasks including organizing inventory and preparing shipments
- Travel to client sites to assist with installation of units as needed
Requirements
- Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and tape‐measure use
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to follow specifications
- Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently; able to stand, bend, and stoop throughout the shift
- Must pass drug screening and background check
- 2+ years of experience in carpentry, construction, or structural assembly
- Prior forklift experience highly preferred
