Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Restoration Technician Associate to join our team. In this role, you will support the restoration of residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, mold, storms, and other disasters. This is an excellent position for someone eager to build a career in the restoration industry and gain hands-on technical experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with water extraction, structural drying, fire/smoke cleaning, mold remediation, and general property restoration tasks
- Set up, monitor, and maintain restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA vacuums, etc.)
- Perform debris removal, demolition, and site cleanup as needed
- Document work performed through photos, notes, and job tracking software
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service while on-site
- Assist with loading/unloading vehicles, equipment organization, and warehouse duties
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency responses
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Janitorial background
- Knowledge of tools
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Prior experience in restoration, construction, or a skilled trade is a plus (but not required)
- Training opportunities available
Schedule
- Monday–Friday : 7:30AM-4:30PM
- On‑call rotation for evenings/weekends as needed
