Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Porter/Cleaner who is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall curb appeal of our apartment community. This role works closely with the Property Manager and Maintenance Team to ensure a pleasant and safe environment for all residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of all common interior areas, including:
- Hallways
- Leasing office
- Laundry rooms
- Fitness centers
- Community rooms
- Restrooms
- Perform regular groundkeeping duties, such as:
- Picking up debris
- Sweeping sidewalks and parking lots
- Maintaining courtyard and outdoor amenities
- Remove trash from all bins, dog stations, and common areas; ensure dumpster/compactor areas are clean and organized
- Clean building entryways, glass doors, and windows
- Assist in unit turnover cleaning for apartments as needed
- Report safety hazards, maintenance needs, or concerns to management
- Assist with seasonal tasks, including snow shoveling, salting walkways, and light landscaping
- Support the maintenance team with basic tasks when needed
Qualifications
- Previous apartment, hotel, or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
- Ability to work independently and manage time well
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- Willing to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Schedule: Monday - Friday: 9AM-5PM
Pay: $15/hr.
