Production Line Worker
We are seeking dependable Production Line Workers to support operations at a family-owned paint manufacturing facility. This role involves hands-on production, packaging, and material handling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Pay: $16.00/hour to start
Location: Wadsworth, Ohio
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacturing & Mixing: Assist with the production and mixing of chemical products such as paint and related compounds.
- Assembly & Packaging: Fill, label, seal, and package chemical products, including placing containers (such as paint cans) onto conveyors.
- Machine Operation: Operate and monitor production line equipment to ensure smooth and safe operation.
- Quality Control: Inspect products during and after production to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with specifications.
- Material Handling:
- Handle materials and products to maintain the flow of production areas
- unload shipped materials from delivery vehicles and move them to designated storage areas
- Pull stored materials for production or shipping orders
- Move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
- Documentation: Document incoming and outgoing materials and supplies and review receiving documents for correct storage destinations.
- Safety & Housekeeping: Follow all safety guidelines when handling chemicals, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and assist with routine equipment cleaning and upkeep.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Ability to work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
- Prior manufacturing or chemical production experience is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to learn production processes and safety procedures
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Capability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs
