Job Title: Bank Assistant Manager
Location: Sidney, Ohio
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site
Pay Range: Competitive, based on experience + bonus potential
Position Summary:
As the Retail Banking Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in managing daily branch functions, mentoring team members, ensuring compliance, and supporting both sales and service initiatives. You’ll work closely with the Branch Manager to grow the branch’s success while maintaining strong customer and employee relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Branch Manager in overseeing day-to-day branch operations.
- Lead and coach front-line staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Assist with new account openings, consumer lending, and product cross-selling.
- Monitor branch performance and help meet sales and customer service goals.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Help resolve customer concerns and complex service issues.
- Represent the branch in the local community and support outreach efforts.
- Serve as acting manager when needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail banking, customer service, or financial services.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of banking products and services.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using banking systems and Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to pass a background check and be bondable.
