Job Full Description
Machine Operator - Baling Machine - $16/Hr
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift,
Schedule: M-F 5:00A-1:30P
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate baling machinery to compress clothing materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect materials for quality compliance before processing.
- Perform routine maintenance and make minor adjustments to the baling machine as needed.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate with maintenance teams.
- Load and unload materials into the baler using manual methods or forklifts (if certified).
- Label and store baled materials properly to ensure organization and compliance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience with industrial machinery or baling machines is a plus.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
- Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced work environment.
- Forklift certification is a bonus (training provided if not certified).
