Job Title: Quality Inspector – Steel Fabrication
Location: Minster, OH
Position Overview
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our steel fabrication team. This role is responsible for inspecting in-process and finished steel products to ensure they meet print specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, can read blueprints accurately, and is comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect in-process and finished steel products for accuracy and quality
- Read and interpret blueprints and job prints
- Verify dimensions using a tape measure
- Inspect welds, paint, and overall workmanship for compliance with specifications
- Document inspection results and report non-conformances
- Safely operate a forklift to move materials as needed
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Experience inspecting steel, metal, or fabricated components preferred
- Knowledge of weld and paint inspection standards is a plus
- Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment
