Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Forklift Driver in Sidney, Ohio to join a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing team on first shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM). This position involves safely operating forklifts and material-handling equipment to move, load, and organize materials while meeting productivity, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, pallet jack, etc.)
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage locations
- Transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues
- Accurately track inventory using scanners or paperwork
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with general warehouse and production tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Current Forklift Certification (Required)
- Previous forklift operator or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- High school diploma or GED preferred
