Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead daily operations in a fast-paced diesel and commercial truck repair facility in Minster, Ohio. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing technicians, interacting with customers, and ensuring high-quality diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance are completed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction
- Diagnose and repair commercial trucks and specialized vehicle systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections in compliance with federal regulations
- Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems
- Oversee shop workflow, assign tasks, and support technicians as needed
- Complete and review service documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure adherence to all safety policies, procedures, and industry standards
- Respond to service calls and support timely, efficient repairs
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with all types of vehicle service
- Proven experience as a Shop Foreman, Lead Technician, or Diesel Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Experience working with commercial trucks and heavy-duty vehicles
- Familiarity with DOT inspection requirements and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred Skills
- ASE Certification (a plus)
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
