Press Operator – Metal Working Shop (2nd Shift)
Shift: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Pay: $16.00 per hour
We are hiring a Press Operator for our metal working shop on 2nd shift. This position involves operating press equipment to produce quality metal parts while meeting safety and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate metal press machinery
- Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications
- Inspect parts for accuracy and quality
- Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers (preferred)
- Enter and review production data using computers
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read blueprints
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with mics and calipers preferred
- Reliable attendance and ability to work 2nd shift hours
