Customer Service
Part-Time
$15 p/h
An auction company in needs a customer service professional. The position is excellent for organized, detail-oriented multitaskers who can thrive in a busy work environment.
Hours:
- Varied; between 25 and 40 hours per week, based on seasonal needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm greeting and positive first impression to all guests and bidders
- Answer multi-line phone system and route calls with professionalism
- Respond to customer inquiries about auctions, consignments, and events
- Process payments, data entry, and general administrative duties
- Assist with coordinating pick-ups, deliveries and merchandise handling
- Maintain reception area and supply inventory
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a receptionist or in customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Basic computer skills with MS Office, databases, etc.
- Weekend availability for auction event staffing
