Press Operator & Die Setter
$18.00 - $19.25/hour | 1st Shift | Springfield, OH
Experienced manufacturing professional? Join our team as a Press Operator & Die Setter! We're looking for a skilled operator who excels at precision work and equipment maintenance.
Schedule
Monday-Thursday: 5:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Friday: 5:30 AM - 9:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate punch presses with single hit dies
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs
- Configure assembly equipment (riveters, clinchers, tappers)
- Handle die installation and removal
- Ensure quality control and precision manufacturing
Required Experience
- Proven experience with punch press setup and operation
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair press equipment
- Experience setting up assembly equipment and performing maintenance
- Skilled in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges)
- Physical ability to handle medium-sized dies
