Essential Job Duties
- Meat trimming: Use knives to trim and prepare meat products for packaging
- Product packaging: Portion meat into vacuum bags and operate vacuum sealing equipment
- Quality control: Ensure all products meet company standards for freshness and appearance
- Inventory management: Organize and store products in designated cooler areas
- Sanitation: Clean work surfaces, equipment, knives, and counters using pressure washers
- Food safety compliance: Follow all HACCP and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in refrigerated environment (average 48°F temperature)
- Physical ability to stand for 8+ hours and perform repetitive motions
- Strong attention to detail for quality control
- Willingness to use sharp knives and processing equipment safely
- Ability to lift and move product as needed
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
