Machine Operator - PVD Equipment
$15.50/hour | 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM | Must Be Shift Flexible
We're seeking a Machine Operator to join our team operating and maintaining PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) equipment. This role requires someone with mechanical and computer skills who can work independently and lead a small team of associates.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate PVD Machinery: Run Physical Vapor Deposition equipment efficiently and safely
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all PVD equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime
- Record Management: Organize and manage all maintenance records and documentation
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve machine issues using mechanical and computer skills
- Team Coordination: Supervise associates in washing and running parts through production
- Organization: Keep work areas, tools, and documentation well-organized
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to obtain a passport (required for position)
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
- Computer skills for equipment operation and record keeping
- PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) knowledge
- Strong organizational abilities
- Shift flexibility - willing to work various shifts as needed
- Ability to lead and coordinate work with associates
- Reliable and detail-oriented
Position Details
- Schedule: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
- Pay: $15.50 per hour
- Shift Requirements: Must be flexible for different shifts as business needs change
