Material Handler - Warehouse Operations
$17.00/hour | Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
We're seeking an experienced Material Handler to support our production team with essential warehouse operations. This role is ideal for someone with inventory control experience who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Support: Pull and stage parts for assembly operations to keep production lines running smoothly
- Shipping Operations: Pull and pack parts for outbound shipments, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
- Receiving & Storage: Process incoming goods and store materials in designated locations following proper procedures
- Shipment Preparation: Prepare items for shipment with attention to packaging and documentation requirements
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control activities and maintain accurate stock levels
- Quality Focus: Perform all duties with emphasis on productivity, safety, and quality standards
- Flexible Support: Take on additional assignments and alternative duties as production needs require
Required Experience & Skills
- Material Handling Experience: Previous warehouse or material handling experience required
- Inventory Control: Background in inventory management and control systems
- Technical Skills: Basic math and problem-solving abilities for analytical tasks
- Documentation: Ability to read, write, and understand instructions, schedules, markings, and prints
- System Knowledge: SAP or ERP experience preferred but not required
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with assistance
- Regularly bend, stoop, reach, and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in sometimes noisy manufacturing environment
- Heat tolerance for warehouse conditions
- Physical stamina for continuous movement throughout shift
