Sanitation Technician - Food Processing Facility
$16.36/hour | 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM | Monday-Friday

Essential Responsibilities
- Deep Facility Cleaning: Clean and sanitize all food processing equipment, floors, walls, conveyors, and production machinery to FDA standards
- Equipment Maintenance: Disassemble and reassemble production equipment for thorough deep cleaning procedures
- Chemical Handling: Safely handle and apply industrial cleaning chemicals following strict safety and sanitation protocols
- Documentation: Complete and maintain detailed cleaning logs and sanitation records for compliance
- Quality Inspections: Perform pre-operational inspections to verify proper sanitation before production begins
- Regulatory Compliance: Follow all OSHA, GMP, HACCP, and company-specific food safety guidelines
- Safety Leadership: Consistently wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures without exception
- Communication: Report equipment issues, contamination risks, or supply shortages to supervisors immediately
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Stand, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout 8.5-hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Work comfortably in wet, cold, and humid environments
- Tolerance for working around industrial cleaning chemicals
- Physical stamina for continuous movement and manual tasks

- PPE Compliance: Must wear all required personal protective equipment at all times
- Hygiene Standards: Strict adherence to food safety hygiene (no jewelry, proper hairnet use, etc.)
