Machine Operator - Packaging Equipment
$15.02/hour | 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | Food Manufacturing
We're seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our food packaging team operating Hayssen equipment! This role requires manufacturing or machine operating experience and is ideal for professionals who excel in fast-paced production environments with a focus on food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Operate Hayssen packaging machinery safely and efficiently to meet production targets
- Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality checks throughout the shift to ensure all products meet established standards
- Food Safety Compliance: Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and Safe Quality Food (SQF) practices
- Safety Focus: Work safely around production equipment and machinery, following all safety protocols
- Production Excellence: Leverage your experience to maintain consistent output while ensuring quality standards
Required Experience & Skills
- Manufacturing Background: Manufacturing experience or machine operating experience required
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks
- Core Skills: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Work Environment: Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced manufacturing environments
- Reliability: Track record of consistent performance and procedure adherence
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Regularly bend, reach, stoop, and lift during production activities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Physical stamina for continuous movement and manual tasks
- Comfort working around moving machinery and equipment
