Material Handler / Order Picker
Location: Springfield, OH
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
About the Role
Building materials warehouse seeking Material Handlers / Order Pickers. Handle siding, roofing materials, and other building supplies while providing excellent service to customers.
Responsibilities
- Pick and load customer orders following pick sheets
- Load and unload trucks with building materials
- Move, sort, palletize, and re-stack siding and roofing materials
- Bring orders to the warehouse for customer pickup
- Assist with inventory management
- Operate sit-down forklifts (training provided)
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the shift
- Maneuver materials up to 80 lbs onto pallets
Requirements
- Ability to maneuver up to 80 lbs onto pallets
- Communicate clearly in English
- Work independently and follow directions
- Follow pick sheets accurately
- Organize and clean as you go
- Reliable and detail-oriented
Preferred Experience
- Forklift operations: 2 years
- Warehouse operations
- Order picking and selection
- Customer service
