Electro-Mechanical Assembler
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join a manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling electrical and mechanical components, subassemblies, and equipment according to specifications, blueprints, and work instructions while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Job Duties
- Assemble electrical and mechanical components, subassemblies, and complete machine systems
- Mount components to equipment frames, assemblies, and control panels according to specifications
- Install, route, and connect wiring harnesses, terminals, and electrical components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings
- Follow written and verbal work instructions accurately
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
- Adapt assembly processes to accommodate variations in parts, wiring configurations, and build requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
- Electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly techniques
- Ability to use measuring instruments and perform basic shop math
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move 20 to 40 pounds without assistance
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands for assembly, wiring, and tool operation
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Schedule
- Full-time position
- First Shift
- Monday through Thursday
- Hours: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Optional overtime available on Fridays
