Property Maintenance Associate
We are seeking a dependable general laborer to perform a variety of building maintenance, repair, renovation, and facility support duties. This position is responsible for maintaining properties, completing repairs, supporting rehabilitation projects, and ensuring facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Job Duties
- Perform general building maintenance and repair work
- Complete plumbing, HVAC, and basic electrical maintenance tasks
- Repair and install drywall as needed
- Perform painting, patching, and finishing work
- Install and repair flooring, tile, and related building materials
- Conduct general handyman repairs and preventative maintenance
- Assist with property rehabilitation and renovation projects
- Perform cleaning, organizing, and property preparation tasks
- Load, unload, move, and transport materials, equipment, and furniture
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition
- Follow all company safety procedures and work instructions
- Assist with additional maintenance and facility support duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience in general maintenance, property maintenance, construction, remodeling, or related trades preferred
- Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, drywall, painting, and tiling practices
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and move materials and equipment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the workday
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Ability to safely perform maintenance, repair, and moving tasks
