Job Full Description
Welder
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join a manufacturing team on third shift. This position performs MIG and TIG welding and related fabrication work while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Job Duties
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and other metals
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate wire, electrodes, and gases
- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces
- Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and strength
- Follow production and safety procedures
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals
Qualifications
- Previous welding experience or applicable welding education/training required
- Experience with MIG, TIG, or other welding processes
- Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
- Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a team
