Manager of Accounting
Lead Accounting Operations in a Dynamic Manufacturing Environment
We are seeking an experienced Manager of Accounting to oversee all accounting and treasury functions, lead a high-performing accounting team, and provide financial reporting and strategic support to senior leadership. This is a key leadership role responsible for financial accuracy, compliance, budgeting, cash management, audits, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly close process and financial statement preparation
- Manage annual and semi-annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analyze budget variances and present findings to leadership
- Oversee all accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, cost accounting, and treasury activities
- Manage cash flow and short-term/long-term financing activities
- Direct annual and semi-annual financial audits
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Supervise accounting staff and drive continuous process improvements
- Prepare financial reports, analysis, and ad hoc reporting for executive management
- Support corporate and international reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- 7-10 years of progressive accounting leadership experience
- Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, cost accounting, treasury management, and internal controls
- Experience leading audits and financial reporting processes
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
