Weld Operator in the Toledo, Oh area! 2nd Shift
$18.50
M-F- 2 pm- 10 pm OT available
Summary of essential job functions
-
o I understand that this position will require me to start machines, monitor their operation to ensure it is processing properly, record data for material tracking and the number of pieces produced with documentation to run the machine.
o I will be required to operate or tend to machines that perform welding or mechanical clinching.
o I will be required to examine and inspect completed work pieces for defects, such as chipped edges or marred surfaces and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws.
o I will perform other duties as assigned by my supervisor.
o This job requires standing for 8 or more hours at a time.
Minimum requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating large industrial equipment is preferred.
Abilities required
- Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or climb for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull objects that are up to 50 pounds.
