Express Employment is currently seeking skilled Small Engine and Equipment Mechanics. As a Small Engine and Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engines and various types of equipment used in landscaping, construction, and other industries.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on small engines and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups
- Inspect equipment to identify any potential issues or malfunctions
- Order and replace faulty parts as needed
- Test equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Small Engine Mechanic or Equipment Technician
- Strong knowledge of small engine systems and equipment mechanics
- Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and customer service abilities
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices
