Express Employment is currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Machine Builder for a 1st Shift position in Toledo, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and building complex machinery and equipment based on technical specifications and blueprints.
Responsibilities
- Assemble machines and equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Install components such as motors, gears, bearings, and pneumatic parts
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure proper functioning of assembled machinery
- Perform quality checks and inspections to guarantee compliance with standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace during the building process
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet production schedules
- Document assembly processes and any modifications made during construction
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience as a machine builder or in a similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with hand tools and machinery used in assembly
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
