Express Pros in Warren, OH is looking for Material Handler/Environmental Cleaning Technicians to work with our valued client in Warren, OH.
Shift: Day Shift(shifts may vary as the project grows)
Pay: $19.00 per hr
Job Profile Summary
Material Handler/Environmental Cleaning Technicians
This position will perform collection, movement, sorting, and processing of all wastes and by products in a fast paced manufacturing facility environment safely and in accordance with Company, Federal, State, and local regulations/rules.
Essential Functions
- Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Load and unload solid and liquid waste & recyclables safely in accordance with Company, Federal, State and local regulations/rules.
- Utilize hand trucks, pallet jacks, fork trucks with attachments and other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within the facility.
- Safety operate equipment to process materials including balers, shredders, grinders, extractors, pumps, tanks and pressure washers
- Properly sort materials based on pre-established guidelines for additional processing.
- Perform cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed.
- Utilize knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills.
Education Qualifications
- Preferred High School or Equivalent
Experience Qualifications
- Preferred Prior forklift experience
- Skills and Abilities
- This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function.
- Basic knowledge of EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations preferred.
- Ability to understand general industry practices.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirator.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
