A pallet management company in Youngstown is looking for Combo Pallet Builders to join their team!

 

Job Summary: This position involves building combo pallets according to specific guidelines, ensuring quality and efficiency in product handling and pallet assembly. Ideal candidates will be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with physical labor.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and build pallets using a combination of new and recycled wood components
• Read load slips to determine how many pieces needed to build each pallet
• Using a nail gun and circle saws to build and assemble pallets
• Follow specific build sheets or stacking patterns to ensure accurate order fulfillment
• Visually inspect products and pallets for damage or inconsistencies
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
• Operate pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment if trained (forklift experience a plus)

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

•  Follow all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a warehouse or pallet building environment preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout shift
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet time-sensitive goals
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
• Read a tape measure

Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm, some Saturdays as needed

 

Pay Rate: $15/hour to train (about 2 weeks) and then will be paid piece work
