Job Full Description
We are seeking someone experienced in plumbing to install residential and commercial stand-by generators with both Natural Gas and Propane.
Responsibilities:
- Assist on installation of generators
- Install pipework
- Read service manuals to perform installation
- Inspect and test equipment to locate damage or worn parts and diagnose malfunctions, or
read work orders or schematic drawings to determine required repairs
- Solder, wrap, and coat wires to ensure proper insulation
- Disassemble defective equipment so that repairs can be made, using hand tools
- Lift units or parts such as motors or generators, using cranes or chain hoists, or signal
crane operators to lift heavy parts or subassemblies
- Operate trench hole digger
- Must also be able to safely operate a forklift when necessary to lift various motors,
generators and other equipment
- Responsible for driving company vehicles with trailers and rental generators
