A manufacturing company in Boardman is looking for experienced Pipe Fitters to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, or related equipment, according to blueprints
- Assemble or secure pipes, fittings, or related equipment, according to specifications
- Attach pipes to walls, structures or fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment
- Modify, clean or maintain pipe systems, units, fittings or related machines using hand or power tools
- Knowledge of API 1104 and ASME weldments highly desirable
- Use advance math including trigonometry
- Knowledge of pipe formulas
- Knowledge of pipe fittings and takeoffs
- Ability to layout and segment pipe to customer specs
- Ability to cut pipe and knowledge of beveling practices
QUALIFICATIONS:
- One year certificate from college or technical school OR related experience and training
- 3 years of pipe fitting required
- 3-5 years of working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read blueprints and use math skills
- Ability to read and interpret a tape measure
- Must be able to work as a team
SHIFT: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm (OT is Monday-Friday 6am-4:30 and Saturdays 6am-12pm)
PAY RATE: $18-$26/hour based on experience
