Express Employment Professionals is a top staffing company dedicated to helping people find jobs and businesses find great workers. We are currently looking to grow our internal team with an Employment Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment.
Position Summary:
As an Employment Specialist, you will be responsible for connecting job seekers with available job opportunities through interviewing, recruitment, and job placement. You’ll also build relationships with local businesses to secure job openings and ensure successful placements by supporting associates while they’re on assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post job openings on job boards, social media, and other platforms
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for open positions
- Make outbound sales calls to generate new client business
- Work closely with local businesses to understand their hiring needs
- Match qualified candidates with available job openings
- Provide support to associates on assignment (check-ins, coaching, attendance tracking)
- Maintain accurate documentation and applicant records
- Deliver excellent customer service to clients and candidates
Pay: $18.00/HR - $20.00/HR
Schedule: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Recruiting experience preferred
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
