Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (Some on-call or emergency service may be required)
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00/hr (Based on experience)
About the Position:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join a hardworking team dedicated to maintaining a fleet of trucks and industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining transport trucks, bobtails, forklifts, and material handling equipment. This is an evaluation to hire position with room for growth!
Key Responsibilities:

Perform general and preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and industrial machinery

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic software and tools

Repair or replace components such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems

Conduct inspections of brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and more
-
Complete work orders, time cards, and other required documentation accurately

Ensure safety compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company regulations
-
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and team members regarding repairs
-
Support emergency road calls and maintain shop/service vehicles as needed

Assist with training new technicians and perform facility maintenance duties
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, Full-Time Day Shift; some Overtime may be required
Qualifications:
-
3+ years of diesel or fleet maintenance experience preferred

Proficiency with diagnostic tools and mechanical systems

Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
-
Strong knowledge of DOT/OSHA compliance standards

Excellent communication and organizational skills
-
Valid driver’s license
-
Drug screen (safety sensitive) and background check required
