Job Title: Experienced Manufacturing Assembler
Location: South Oklahoma City
Pay: $17–$18/hr
Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Experienced Manufacturing Assembler to join a production team manufacturing mechanical components and related equipment for HVAC units. This evaluation to hire position involves assembling parts using various tools, interpreting technical documentation, and ensuring all products meet strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and diagrams
- Assemble mechanical parts and equipment using hand and power tools such as screw guns and drill guns
- Lift and position raw materials and components
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications
- Complete required paperwork, checklists, and documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Train and support less experienced team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Flexibility to cross train into other positions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is highly preferred
- Ability to read in English and understand measurements, blueprints, and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain productivity under deadlines
- Adapts to changes, is open to new ideas, takes on new responsibilities, handles pressure, adjust plans to meet changing needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
