Job Title: Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanic
Location: South Oklahoma City
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to support mechanics that diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and other industrial equipment. This role requires strong mechanical abilities, as well as experience working with tools and equipment. The ideal candidate has solid truck or heavy-equipment repair experience, strong technical skills, and a proven track record of reliability. This position plays an essential role in ensuring equipment safety, minimizing downtime, and supporting ongoing operational needs.
Pay: $20/hr plus, DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with possible overtime
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in heavy truck and industrial equipment repair
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, service manuals, and technical documentation
- Welding and cutting torch experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and supervisors
