Position: Industrial Painter
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Industrial Painter for a leading company here in OKC! As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying primers and paints, and ensuring a high-quality finish on various industrial equipment and structures. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be crucial in maintaining our standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Apply primers and paints using spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
- Ensure proper adhesion and coverage of paint through knowledge of surface preparation and application techniques.
- Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools regularly.
- Inspect work for quality and consistency.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Industrial Painter or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Physical stamina and strength to work in various positions, including bending, kneeling, and working overhead.
Pay: $18-$20/hr
