Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in the Grove/Vinita area. This role is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a variety of vehicles and/or industrial machinery to ensure minimal downtime and maximum safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostics: Use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical issues in vehicles or equipment.

Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, fluid flushes, belt replacements, and brake inspections.

Repairs: Disassemble, repair, and reassemble engines, transmissions, and cooling systems according to manufacturer specifications.

Safety Compliance: Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and document all work performed in the shop management system.

Tool Management: Maintain a clean workspace and ensure all shop tools are accounted for and in good working condition.
Qualifications:

Experience: 2+ years of experience in automotive, diesel, or industrial maintenance.

Certifications: ASE certification or vocational training is highly preferred.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.

Physical: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment with varying temperatures.

Tools: Must possess a basic set of personal tools.
