Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join a leading production team in the Grove/Vinita area. This role is responsible for fabricating and joining metal components with high precision to support local manufacturing and aerospace projects. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their craftsmanship and maintain a strong focus on safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Welding Operations: Perform high-quality MIG, TIG, or Flux-Core welding on various materials (steel, aluminum, or stainless steel) based on project specifications.

Fabrication: Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings to plan layouts and procedures.

Setup & Maintenance: Set up welding machines, including adjusting amperage, voltage, and gas flow. Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment.

Quality Control: Inspect finished welds for accuracy and structural integrity; grind and finish welds as needed to meet strict tolerances.

Safety: Adhere to all shop safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and maintaining a clean, hazard-free workstation.
Qualifications:

Experience: 1–3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools (tape measures, calipers).

Technical Knowledge: Ability to pass a standard welding test (e.g., 3G vertical plate test).

Physical: Must be able to stand for long shifts, work in high-heat environments, and lift up to 50 lbs.
