Job Full Description
We are seeking a professional DOT Driver for local and regional deliveries in the Grove/Vinita area. While this position does not require a CDL, it does require full compliance with DOT regulations, including a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, and comfortable operating medium-duty vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:

Safe Operation: Drive and maintain commercial vehicles (10,001 - 26,000 lbs GVWR) in accordance with all local, state, and federal traffic laws.

DOT Compliance: Maintain a driver qualification file (DQF), including an up-to-date DOT medical card and accurate logs of duty status.

Inspections: Perform mandatory daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; document and report any safety or maintenance issues.

Delivery & Loading: Accurately load/unload cargo, verify manifests, and obtain customer signatures. Ensure all loads are secured and balanced for transport.

Customer Service: Act as a professional representative of the company during all client interactions.
Qualifications:

Certification: Must possess a valid DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner’s Certificate).

License: Valid Class D Driver’s License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the past 3 years.

Experience: 1+ years of experience operating box trucks or similar medium-duty commercial vehicles.

Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a DOT-mandated physical exam and drug screen.

Age: Must be at least 21 years old (for interstate DOT compliance).
