Job Full Description
We are Looking for a Custodian
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, dusting furniture, cleaning windows, and sanitizing restrooms to maintain hygiene standards
- Trash and Recycling Management: Emptying trash bins, washing containers, and handling recycling procedures
- Minor Maintenance: Replacing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, repairing broken doors or furniture, and performing basic upkeep of building systems
- Groundskeeping: Mowing lawns, trimming trees and shrubs, raking leaves, and keeping sidewalks and outdoor areas clean
- Facility Preparation: Setting up rooms for events, meetings, or classes, and ensuring equipment and supplies are ready
- Safety and Security: Inspecting fire alarms, smoke detectors, and HVAC systems, securing doors and buildings, and following safety protocols for chemical use
- Inventory Management: Maintaining cleaning supplies and equipment, and requesting replenishments as needed.
