Position Overview
Express Employment Professionals of Yukon are seeking reliable and motivated Kitchen Staff to join our team. This full-time position plays a key role in supporting daily food service operations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and teamwork. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating as directed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Support opening, closing, and shift-change duties
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations
- Cover shifts on short notice when operational needs require
Schedule & Availability Requirements
- Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week
- Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Weekend availability is required and non-negotiable
- Must be willing and able to cover shifts on short notice
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or food service experience required
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to changing schedules
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
