Day Shift 5a-3:30p

$22.80/Hr

Veneer green chain puller determines grade of green veneer as specified by company standards.
Veneer chain puller pulls green veneer sheets which are fed onto a conveyor and places in proper carts according to grade and dimension.
Organize veneer sheets carefully into veneer carts, leveling loads for proper storage and better utilization through the drying process.
Maintain a clean work area, monitoring debris build-up and remove/sweep area.
Monitor and assist with plug-ups on the belt lines to remove stuck veneer sheets.
Adjust veneer carts to set-up sizes for changeovers.
Observe the line for malfunctions, report to maintenance when problems are identified. Push/pull carts of veneer (weighing 60+lbs) out from the line for removal by forklift.
Monitor haul back chain for plug ups.
Observe veneer on green chain for quality and notify supervisor of any concerns regarding quality.

Recent production experience preferred.
