Deli / Gas Station Clerk
Overview: Supports deli and store operations through customer service, food prep, cleaning, stocking, and assisting at the register and fuel station.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, helpful customer service
- Prepare deli items and maintain fresh, appealing displays
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and follow sanitation standards
- Process transactions and handle payments accurately
- Clean and maintain work areas, restrooms, and customer spaces
- Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and assist with deliveries
- Assist at fuel pumps and safely fill propane bottles
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash-handling ability
- Willing to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Retail or food-service experience preferred
Work Environment
- Indoor deli/store work plus outdoor fuel-station tasks
- Requires standing and walking for full shift
- Exposure to kitchen equipment, cleaning chemicals, and weather
