A local distribution company specializing in high-quality safety products is seeking an Industrial Sewing Specialist to join their team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing fabric-based safety signs, ensuring they meet our clients' strict quality standards. This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial sewing machines to repair and reinforce fabric safety signs.
- Inspect materials for any defects or damages before and after sewing.
- Use hand tools as needed to complete repairs and adjustments.
- Work closely with the production team to meet daily quotas and ensure production goals are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety guidelines.
Shift & Pay:
- Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Pay: $16 per hour
Qualifications:
- Experience working with an industrial sewing machine REQUIRED.
- Ability to handle industrial sewing equipment and tools effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
